16th b-day surprise

I need some help w/ a little surprise for my son's 16th b-day. We are hopefully going to be on Splendor in Cabo that day! I was just wondering if there was any ideas of anything specail to do for him.

If we was a girl I would treat him to a spa treatment. I dont think he would like that.

I dont know if he would appericate a cake from the BV but maybe he would.

I dont think room decorations are his thing either?

i would get a really exciting excursion in Cabo...if he likes animals, maybe swim with dolphins or horse riding, if he likes adventure maybe 4 wheeling or scuba diving intro, etc...that would be a memorable birthday! :cool:

Deep sea fishing would be AWESOME! We are sadly only in Cabo for a few hours 7-3pm.

 

I will have to search hard to find the perfect thing. I have never been there so I have no idea where to start.

Number one - check out the ports of call board - lots of suggestions there usually. Also, go to your roll call - a lot of people there might have suggestion - might even find a 16 year old companion for him. Would be great for him to meet someone pre cruise.

And if not a marlin, there are plenty of mahi mahi available, you don't have to cruise far from the Cabo pier either. For a lot less $$$, in a few hours he can hook up several fish, and he'll be showing off the video or still shots to all his friends when he gets home. Besides, kids hooked on fishing seem to have bright futures in front of them!
