PoseidonGodoftheSea Posted November 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2010 I've been on many cruises and for the life of me can't recall if the staterooms had curtains for privacy. I always cruised solo in the past and it wasn't an issue, but I will be taking my Mom on a cruise next year and while we will have a suite, I still want some added privacy if possible. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.
cb at sea Posted November 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2010 On RCI, the Radiance Class has a curtain that goes all the way across the room...on Voyager class, the curtain is mearly "ornamental"... If you're in a suite, you will probably have 2 separate rooms...no need for a curtain.
PoseidonGodoftheSea Posted November 23, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted November 23, 2010 Actually this is with Holland America, their suites really aren't suites in the traditional sense and are really just one large room, even the deluxe suites. Their still nice and spacious, I've booked them before, and I know changing areas and such won't be an issue, I just can't remember around the beds because I was alone and not looking for it. jsummerton Posted November 23, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 23, 2010 Also not a real suite, NCL's minisuites have a privacy curtain.
Bill S Posted November 23, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 23, 2010 IIRC, the only privacy curtain in HAL cabins is at the end of the short corridor between the sleeping area and the bathroom entrance.
