Port arrival time

If a ship itinerary shows an 8am arrival time is that the time you can get off the ship ?

 

I am trying to schedule a scuba dive that leaves at 9am but the ship arrives at 8am. Want to make sure I can make the boat.

The listed arrival time is the time the ship is expected to dock. Then it must be cleared by local authorities. This typically takes about 30 minutes. Local tour operators are aware of this delay.
