SWACK Posted November 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2010 We are in SJ on the 28th of Decemebr, and I just found out that that is the day for the Festival of the Masks.. sounds great! However, from what I have found on the web, it appears that there are events tied to this outside of SJ, but can't find any in the city. Can you help let us know where/when we can see the parade and other events on that day? Thanks Dan

You will need a car to visit the festival. I have never made it out to that festival yet, So I don't know the exact time etc. I assume it will go through the center of town, probably starting in the main square. You may be able to call them (ask for the Turismo departmento), someone will probably speak English. 787-262-2093 or 787-262-3561
orquidia Posted November 30, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2010 yes, this is not an event in or near San Juan at all. It is held in Hatillo every year, in the western region of Puerto Rico.
