Festival de la mascaras help please (rainforest girl?)

We are in SJ on the 28th of Decemebr, and I just found out that that is the day for the Festival of the Masks.. sounds great! However, from what I have found on the web, it appears that there are events tied to this outside of SJ, but can't find any in the city. Can you help let us know where/when we can see the parade and other events on that day?

Thanks

Dan

The Mask Festival is in Hatillo- a town a little over 1 hr away from SJ (on the NW coast). You will need a car to visit the festival. I have never made it out to that festival yet, So I don't know the exact time etc. I assume it will go through the center of town, probably starting in the main square.

You may be able to call them (ask for the Turismo departmento), someone will probably speak English. 787-262-2093 or 787-262-3561
