zebra Posted November 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2010 I was wondering if we are allowed to take a few Diet Coke's and water onboard with us (for the cabin and to take on excursions)? Sorry if this question has been answered 100 times, thank goodness for wonderful patient people.
jerin Posted November 29, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2010 Technically, it's in the cruise contract that you can't, but in reality, it's often done, and usually they're more concerned with the alcoholic beverage policy. You're not likely to have small amounts of water and soft drinks confiscated.
cruz4natic Posted November 29, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 29, 2010 We just got off the Liberty. We did a b2b. We carried on some small cranberry juice plastic bottles, and water (about 4 bottles). Also, from one of the ports, we bought a large bottle of sprite and an 8 pack of water and didn't have any problems. When watching people board for second cruise we saw a large family with 2 cases of water and didn't seem to have a problem.
wave rider Posted November 29, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2010 It has never been a problem that I have seen. I see people even returning from excursions who have stopped and picked up a case of something and brought it back through security without having an issue raised.
