PATRIOTSRULE Posted November 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2010 Debating on taking a taxi to Paradise beach for the day or doing Carnival's Beach party.( what beach do they bring you to?) Carnival's trip is only 3 hours long and that seems to short to me. Would it be better to just take a taxi to Paradise Beach for the day and pay the cab fair plus the $12 for the water toys for the family and then leave whenever we want.? How is the beach that Carnival brings you to compared to Paradise Beach. Can we stay there and take taxi back on our own or do we need to leave when everyone else does? mystone99 Posted November 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2010 Hi Patriotsrule; DW and I did this last year when we were on the Legend. It's with the Fury Catamaran's. You go south down the coastline, stop a couple of good snorkle spots, and then end up at their beach, which is right next to Mr. Sancho's. Open bar after snorkeling, at the beach and on the ride back (Beer and margaritas). Beach time was about an hour total, had water toys for the kids, but food was extra (I think they sold cheeseburger and chicken sandwiches). If you are looking for just beach time, I would go with something else, like Paradise or Nachi. If you want to snorkle and ride a catamaran (which DW loves) this is a good excursion. Hope this helps. DebJ14 Posted November 30, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2010 The beach they use is Playa Mia.
crdtrnr Posted December 1, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 1, 2010 The beach they use is down from playa mia...it is actually the fury beach. They have great water float/toys, plus hammocks, water floats, kayaks, etc. The only downside is you are there for about 1 to 1 1/2 hour. But great beer/margaritas.
