jam82 Posted December 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2010 I'm wondering if AO on RCCL is open on embarkation day. I'm thinking of booking a cruise on the Liberty.
jerin Posted December 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2010 No, on the first day, the staff are busy registering children, running the open house, they usually perform major duties at muster, as they're some of the crew guaranteed to have good English, so the program doesn't open until the morning of Day 2. Wilda Posted December 1, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2010 Agree with Jerin. You can however enroll them them your first day on the ship...that way all paperwork is completed and out of the way;)
jam82 Posted December 1, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted December 1, 2010 Thanks. I reviewed some of the programs and it looked that way to me too. I appreciate the responses.
crusinmama06 Posted December 1, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 1, 2010 It depends. :D If its a shorter cruise, 3 - 5 days, then yes, AO does open on the first night. You can see that from our 5 night cruise. This is from Day 1 and it says down at the bottom that it opened at 8:30 for activities.
jerin Posted December 2, 2010 #6 Share Posted December 2, 2010 It depends. :D If its a shorter cruise, 3 - 5 days, then yes, AO does open on the first night. I suppose that makes sense that they'd skip the opening show, etc. and get right to the programming on the shorter cruises.
