Just curious-Holy Land cruise

I started a post on the "connections" board for a May 16th, 2011 Holy Land cruise. While there have been lots of hits, there have been very few responses. I was just curious as to whether this is because we have picked a bad time of the year to go or is the itinerary not that popular. (Israel, Egypt, Turkey and the Greek Islands).

It looks like a great cruise to me, especially with the overnights in Israel and Egypt and the long stay in Kusadasi. Some Roll Calls just don't get going. It is still early yet. Things often get busier in the last three months.

I can tell you this is a great cruise. We returned a couple of weeks ago from the same one on the Journey. May is also a good time as you should be before the heat gets really bad.

 

There are only 1% of cruisers who post on CC. There are only 680 passengers on that ship max. Sometimes that 1% are not posting on CC.

 

We had around 95 sign up for ours in November but no more than 40 showed up for the M&M and the second one only had about 15.

We just got back from this cruise, and it was absolutely WONDERFUL! You certainly picked a good time...we went in Oct and it was still over 100 degrees in Egypt, although the rest of it was pretty comfortable. We used Ramses tours in Egypt and Guided tours Israel, which were both great. We took the vaticanonline tour of the Sistine Chapel and museums in Rome with Tim, who was a drama major in the USA. Everyone who was with him raved about him. I have never learned so much or been so interested.
