jocap Posted December 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2010 Every Thursday, Thomson's fly around 17 of their planes to Sharm el Sheikh, to meet their ship, Celebration.....and they had quite a bit of trouble yesterday, with the snow! Lots of people have an extra week in Sharm, pre-or post cruise. Then there's the many thousands of N. Europeans who go there over winter, and enjoy the snorkelling in the Red Sea. 4 people have suffered shark attacks this week. Now there are reports that 2 sharks have been caught, and the bodies taken to the Ras Mohammed lab. for testing.... It's such a shame, when Sharm is having the busiest time of year....they were hit this Jan/Feb by unusual storms, and one of the airport terminals lost its roof...part of the hotel we were in was flooded and damaged. I just hope that these sharks prove to be the biters...... Jo.
