Spoiledliz Posted December 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2010 So, I just won Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Sunrise Fort Lauderdale for $60 night. I wanted something somewhat close to the Hard Rock so I chose Plantation as a zone. This is what I got. I thought I would be getting Riverside. Ok, the truth, how bad is it? RHefley228 Posted December 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2010 I don't know how the hotel is, but it's about 10-11 miles from the Hard Rock.

swigso Posted December 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2010 I stayed there about 4 or so years ago, from memory it was a nice hotel friendly staff and a lively bar area in the lobby. The reason I remember is that when I checked in I was the guest of the day, got a room upgrade and free breakfast and free drink at the bar. Don't know about the Holiday Inn but Riverside is in "Downtown".
royalcruz Posted December 5, 2010 #7 Share Posted December 5, 2010 The hotel is about 30 minutes from Hard Rock, and about 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, but with a car it's easy to get around. The Riverside Hotel is in Fort Lauderdale in the Downtown zone on Priceline.
trixiee Posted December 5, 2010 #8 Share Posted December 5, 2010 I hope it has improved since we stayed there about 7 years ago! It was DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY, IMO. I would never, ever stay there again. I slept with my clothes on.
