  1. Yes, I think it does! Thank you Jacqui!
  2. Exactly! I'm having a difficult time figuring this one out! We should have $100 ea FCD, plus loyalty shareholder OBC of $100.00 I had wanted to use that for the $15 pd gratuity.
  3. Yes, looks like my VB is as deep as the Aft cabin was. We’re ok with a bit less cabin space, love the larger balcony!
  4. Fortunately we received a VB cabin assignment - those balconies look pretty big too!
  5. Hello, I went to look at my account and saw this entry: Onboard Credit$150.00 Miscellaneous CreditCA$-150.00 Would they have used my OBC for the beverage card purchase I made on-line? Thanks!
  6. Blech! Booked an aft once - and hope to never sail in another aft cabin again! (Unfortunately it might happen - as we usually book a Verandah GTY) The motion of the ocean was not good for me! The type of wave action is just different back there. We did have strong winds and had to cancel HMC. I also felt like I was in the rear facing seat of a train. I like to see where we're going, not where we've been...
  7. Are any unused $$ left on the beverage cards reimbursed to your credit card, or to your onboard account?
  8. Thank you Kazu. I think that's what we we do. I plan on bringing on 4 bottles of wine, 2 for in cabin, and 2 for dinner... and yes, we have 3 port days and one day at Half Moon Key where we will not be "enjoying" the privileges of the SBC. As fellow Canadians, it just seems very pricey - especially with an additional 32% for exchange. Much appreciated! Trixiee
  9. Trying to decide between purchasing a Signature beverage card for each of us, or a couple of beverage cards. What's the breakeven formula? I did see it once, but a quick search proved fruitless. TIA!
  10. This, 100%! Do not miss Antarctica! It is nothing like a transatlantic. There is so much to keep you occupied - great lectures, abundance of Wildlife! Truly an experience you won’t regret. Bring really good binoculars and camera. How I wish I could afford to do the trip you have planned!
  11. Thanks! I will bring my own. Fountain sofa just isn’t the same! and I’ll save enough room for my reusable straw. I certainly am very happy that HAL is being proactive in reducing plastic!
  12. Are you able to get canned beverages and bottled water with the sofa card? And specialty coffees?
  13. I think I’ll call HAL. Strange I was able to book seats for my first flight, but not the second! I think it’s a full flight. They are showing availability for Comfort Class and Business Class, but I don’t need that for a three hour flight.
  14. This was from the Delta site - sorry I wasn't clear... Maybe they have oversold the flight? I don't care which seat my butt is in, just so long as we're both on the flight home! This particular flight time is significantly more expensive than others throughout the day, but it is the most convenient. (We would have way more flexibility if we were retired)
