Cal Cruiser Posted April 23, 2004 #26 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Hi Danno I have an idea we can send the wifester and the bubble wraped kids for a visit. That will pick up your days untill your next cruise? In fact you may never leave the ship again. I will call NEWT and tell him to send them? gkm Posted April 23, 2004 #27 Share Posted April 23, 2004 "Well, a perfect cruise is... No kids Great food AND deserts relax and have some fun." If that's the definition, then I'll be on a perfect cruise. The June 5 Century cruise is an "adults only" and from what I've heard the food and desserts are fabulous!" Danno, come and join us! By the way, how's the diet going? Garry click here to send me an email
Danno Posted April 23, 2004 Author #28 Share Posted April 23, 2004 The diet is still going fine, albeit tough. I am at about 88lbs lost , but EVERY pound is a fight now. I walk 45 miles a week, am very careful what I eat and do well not to gain some weeks...most weeks I'll lose 1/2 pound. My doctor says that I have managed to get myself in such good shape (relatively speaking) that walking is taking much less effort, thus it has less benefit. But I'm not discouraged...I will still lose 100lbs and then I expect my next goal will to lose 120lbs. I must admit our last cruise was a bit of a setback...but well worth it . gkm Posted April 23, 2004 #29 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Good for you Danno. I know what a struggle it is. A good diet is a lifestyle change (and for a lifetime!).
