MargaritaPlease Posted December 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2010 Is it available? How much does it cost? How often does it run? Do you need reservations?
Pepperwood Posted December 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2010 Are you referring to a taxi or bus service from Charlotte Amalie to the ferry, or the schedule of ferries to St. John?
MargaritaPlease Posted December 11, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted December 11, 2010 Pretty unclear, huh? I was trying to inquire about the direct ferry from Charlotte Amalie to Cruz Bay.
hockeyboy Posted December 17, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2010 The Ferry was running 3 times a day when I was there a couple of weeks ago. It's 12 bucks a person and about 2 bucks per large bag. It takes 45 minutes.
CruiseVA Posted December 21, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 21, 2010 There are a variety of schedules on the internet, finding one that is recent can be a challenge ;) This is the most recent one that I could find, dated sometime in 2009 (there is a note about December 16, 2009 schedule). Good luck: Search for st john usvi ferry schedule in google, I cannot get this board to accept the URL - it *'s out part of it (some sort of censor system, I assume)... grizgator Posted December 24, 2010 #6 Share Posted December 24, 2010 If you are arriving by cruise ship, I recommend you take a taxi to Red Hook and take the ferry from there. I believe the ferry is $6 per person (one-way). It runs on the hour (more frequently than the ferry in Charlotte Amalie) and is a shorter trip.
