:) Great!, I was starting to worry we were on our own. This is our first time to the Southern Caribbean. Really looking forward to it.

Have you been on a Celebrity ship before? Summit is a magnificent ship and one of the personal favorites. If you have the chance to check out Normandie - it's a fantastic experience. Planned excursions for most of the islands already but unsure reg. St. Lucia. Leaning towards the Costal Cruise to the Pitons (ship excursion), however, read mixed reviews about it.

We have been on Celebrity once before. We were on Infinity on an Alaska cruise. We've also been on HAL and also a small French line once. Celebrity has been our favorite. I do remember the speciality restaurant on the Infinity as being fantastic.

 

We've done the same with the excursions. We booked St Thomas, St Maarten, and St John. We thought we'd look at the St Lucia excursions once we get onboard. We thought we might just be ready for a relaxing day by then.

What are you most looking forward to? I've heard the Harrison's cave in Barbados is worth checking out... so it's on the list!

 

Right now, just the thought of being away on the Summit for a week brings an instant smile!

It's been a year since we have gotten away for more than just a couple days, so we are also really looking forward to just being away from the day to day routine and relaxing for the week.

 

We also both like to explore new places and since neither of us has been to this area before, it will all be new.
