Diamond Princess coupon books

I have been researching cruises and have found one from Whittier to Vancouver. The agent is offering a 325.00 coupon book. Can anyone tell me what sort of coupons this would be? Am I going to have to spend more money to use the coupons as in getting a small discount in gift store or buying a meal in a specialty restaurant in order to get a second free?

Are the coupons going to be worth choosing this agent over another? The coupons could be the deciding factor.

Thanks for your help.

I think most folks would say no. The only coupon that people want with any kind of frequency is the BOGO coffee card. Most of them are, as you guessed, discounts off of a purchase or two for one purchases. I don't believe any of them are 'get something for free' coupons.

The decent coupon books provided by TAs are not USD$325 of freebies. They are merely cumulative savings on regularly purchased onboard items/services, for example:

savings in the photo gallery if you purchase so much of an item;

spa savings if one or more spa services are purchased;

and so on and so on and so on etc etc.

As previously said below, the only decent coupon worth anything is the 2 for 1 on the coffee cards.

Ciao for now!!!
