serene56 Posted June 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 21, 2004 On your daily compasses there will be little mark next to activities where you can earn ship shape bucks. These are excercise activities. Nope- Bingo didnt rate a icon sorry. You accumulate the dollars by doing the activites. Rock climbin, mini golf, ice skating. when you go to the gym, when you swim. etc.etc. Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year. redwings1958 Posted June 21, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Another way to get stuff is to participate in activities. Trivia contests, Quest, etc. On my last cruise, out group pretty much cleaned up by winning all the trivia contests, name that tune, Quest. T-shirts,fanny packs, water bottles, hats, visors, ID holders, the works!!. Also got a free dinner for 2 at Portofino's by being selected for the Love/Marriage game. So it pays to paticipate!! hardingk Posted June 21, 2004 #8 Share Posted June 21, 2004 It varies from ship to ship and length of cruise as to how many points equal each prize. I think a shirt is 20 pts on the larger ships and longer cruises. ___________________________ RCL~Legend 5/2004, Navigator 8/2003, Majesty 7/2003, Radiance 4/2003, Monarch 8/2002, Nordic Empress 8/2001 Celebrity~Century 7/2001 & 7/1998, Horizon 7/1991 Future Cruises: Enchantment of the Seas 8/30/2004 Brilliance of the Seas 1/14/2005 Adventure of the Seas 9/4/05 Mercury 4/7/2006 Till Belize on the Enchantment of the Seas! AtlWired Posted June 21, 2004 #9 Share Posted June 21, 2004 I was just on the Mariner and did the shipe shape thing. T-shirts were $14, and a mesh bag was $16. There was also a water bottle, lanyard, towel and a few other things. Can't remember those "prices" You can also get shipshape dollars by participating in the bon voyage dancing at the pool and also, the krooze comics gave out a ton in the promenade one day, during one of their shows. Walking a mile at the designated time (8:30 am) will get you a dollar, along with other marked activities. You can probably get any other info from the staff at the shipeshape center. I did notice that a lot of people had no idea what to do with those yellow dollars. I had a lot of fun collecting enough to get what I wanted. Have fun!!
