1937olds Posted December 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2010 If I pay $2.50 to have a pair of shorts washed, do they come back ironed for that price or do I have to pay extra for ironing?
Rare cruisestitch Posted December 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 21, 2010 Most posters on this board have reported that their clothes came folded neatly and looked as good as if they had been pressed. A few have had their clothes returned all jumbled up. I guess you won't know for sure until you try it.
Phxazzcruisers Posted December 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 21, 2010 We have always used the free bag of laundry for our status. The cloths always came back hung and neatly folded, although not ironed. They still looked great
Lsimon Posted December 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 22, 2010 When we've paid the peice rate on laundry anything that would be appropriate to be pressed and returned on hangers was. I can't remember if shorts were on hangers or folded, but most of my shorts are pretty casual and I wouldn't have minded them being folded. But, I bet if you were paying the peice rate they would return them pressed and on hangers for certain if you wrote that in in the special request area of the laundry form. Whenever we've done the 30 peice free coupon (Elite Captains Club coupon) or the bag of laundry special the items have been returned very neatly folded and in paper sacks - except for one cruise in 2007 when a bag of laundry special was returned pressed and on hangers. We generally use the specials for t-shirts and items where pressing isn't necessary and send items we want pressed in at the peice rate.
