Bucket - o -beer

Is it possible to buy a bucket of beer? We've been on other lines where you can buy a bucket of beer (usually one is free). Also - if you can do that - can you take it to your stateroom?

On the Equinox it was 5 beers for the price of 4 - I assume it's the same on other X ships

A day late and a dollar short I guess but the bucket of beer on Equinox was $20 for 4...with one free for a total of 5. Pretty good deal I think.

No buckets with a drink package though, right. This is where it gets sticky. I want to buy a package, but I like to bring buckets back to the room. So I guess I have to buy one at a time and then bring them back.

No bucket of beer with a drink package is understandable for obvious reasons. Greater chance of sharing with your friends!

Last week - no mixing beers, even beers of the same price. Not sure what that rule is about. And on Eclipse last week it was 6 for the price of 5. But there were no bottle openers in our suite - and the butler only had one - so we ended up buying one in port.
