Minutes away from Booking our Honeymoon Cruise and have a few questions

Look a little further down the threads and you will see a recent Spirit discussion. Attached here is a liink to a bunch of Spirit pictures. I don't believe either side has a preference, although I seem to always prefer the starboard side...but for no real reason. If I might suggest...if at all possible money wise....for your honeymoon, step up to a balcony cabin. It provides great privacy for just sitting out together and enjoying the ocean, views while in port, and just time together. I highly recommed it as well worth the extra expense if you can afford it.

Dittos to above thoughts, however, the French Quarter and Chalmette Battlegrounds will be on the port side as you depart NO. Coming in will be in the dark. But, since you pass both those areas right after sailaway you may be up on deck. But overall since the ship dockings vary, it won't matter.

Congratulations on your marriage, may you have many years of happiness.
