Specialty Dining vs Main Dining - Liberty OTS

Hi Everyone!

 

First off, I can't begin to explain how excited I am to be a registered member of this website. It's awesome to know that there are so many people as (dare I say) obsessed with cruising as I am!!

 

Anyway... I'm a young cruiser, only 21... but I was fortunate enough to have parents that brought me and my siblings along on cruises when we were kids.

 

That being said, although this will be 6th cruise (4th on RCI), I've never experienced the specialty restaurants except for on NCL. My girlfriend and I are cruising on the Liberty OTS in late february and I was looking for some advice as to if these restaurants are worth the cover charge or if I haven't been missing much all these years!

Hi Dan,

We just got off the LOS and tried both Portofino & Chops. Both were great, but I tend to like the Chops menu better. Portofinos is a bit more elegant. I think they're worth it.

 

Enjoy the LOS -- it is one of the best run ships out there!
