Pirate Night Fireworks From Palo?

Can they be seen from Palo, or do you need to be on deck?

On the Magic last year the fireworks didn't start til 9:30-10:00pm and I don't remember Palo being open that late. I could be wrong...it's happened once.

It's defintiely still open then, we were there until around 10:30 when we ate there, and definitely weren't the last to leave.

Palo would be open and finishing desert. But most fireworks are fired off the starboard side of the boat closer to midship and if you are dining most of the tables are in the middle and port side of the ship with the entrance to Palo on the starboard side. Have a great cruise.:D

On my DCL Western Caribbean cruise, Pirates was the night we left Cozumel. It started at 9:45 PM and is viewed from decks 9 and 10. On the four day, it was same time on the sea day.

 

If you book dinner earlier in the evening you can do both easily.;)

I would say that a minority of people REALLY dress up (like the couple in the picture), some people will carry around swords or hook hands from the ship store, and a lot of people wear the bandanna they get at dinner...

 

You won't stand out if you don't, but a lot of people do something...
