How could princess improve your cruise

Softer mattresses!!!!! Or offer really thick pillow toppers for those of us who need a softer mattress. Those "egg crates" are pathetic.

Designate one side of the ship -- the cabins/balconies for smoking.

And the other side of the ship -- cabins and balconies as smoke free. Make Everybody happy.

When cruisng to a colder climate ie: New England...Alaska, use a ship with a covered enclosed swimming pool.

Hoping Princess read these threads.

What are the things you would ask them to improve on

Please be realistic taking into consideration the price :)

Can't think of a thing - really. Nothing's perfect but if I wanted a different experience I would look at other cruise lines. Just wish I could stay on longer. :D

Restrict smoking to the cigar lounge and the casino.

A couple of people said to do away with formal nights. No! ! ! ! I like the formal nights; I so rarely get a chance to really dress up except on the ship.

Only 3 completed and 1 booked with Princess. No big issues.

Overall we enjoy Princess cruising and will try to do at least one a year.

But, since this is a wish list, here goes my one gripe:

....Princess, do more 5 night cruises out of FLL, or

even some 4 nighters, similar to Navigator of the Seas.

Coffee. I learned to accept that some things will never be as-good-as-home.

At home, we use Tassimo with Starbucks...so nothing any

cruise ship can come up with, will ever be as good as my home brewed.

I can live with IC brewed...OK.

Beds. Soft-sided, quilt-top waterbed at home. Think of the Crown

as one big 951' waterbed and get over it.

As far as overcrowding, we seem to have been spared

any problems on Crown by dining early, using Crown Grill and

catching early shows and getting to other events a little early to

find seats.

Fix things right away, that do not work in the cabins.

Make sure training is current with the staff so when Princess promises something, the ships staff will know about it, and you don't have to argue with them and take proof with you.

Along with toning down the noise of MUTS, most times bands on deck and other venues are so load. I am surprised they don't have a bunch of deaf employees. If people in the lounge complain and ask them to turn it down, they sometimes even turn it up louder.

Enforce the no-saving-deck chairs rule.

Have several cruise a year that are adult only. (Give it a try and see if it is profitable)

Talk to the wait staff about picking up small children and holding them(they always seem to be holding them near the bottoms) and then waiting on everyone.

Have areas of the diningroom that are child free.

I really enjoy cruising on Princess but there is always room for improvement so my suggestions are:

  • purchase more comfortable mattresses
  • ban smoking on balconies
  • create a system to get rid of chair hogs
  • improve the coffee
  • build more ships the size of the Coral/Island

Don't roll up the sidewalks on activies the last night of the cruise! The cruise is supposed to last until the next morning. I hate it when the hot tubs are closed, they are cleaning the gym etc. and MUTS with no amenities or refreshments and trying to watch it huddled under beach towels was no fun. It doesn't take all evening to pack. Let us have some fun! There need to be some things to do other than go to one of the lounges!

No smoking on balconies or in cabins!!!!!!!!

Real brewed coffee in the dining rooms.

Better mattresses!

I agree with all of these!!! Why does Carnival and Holland have such better mattresses?

I'm not sure what people's problem is with Princess mattress, we were on Holland and were not impressed and didn't notice any difference in the mattresse.

Some people love MUTS and others don't. That's why there are 3 other pools!

They still don't need to have it so loud, unless most of the people that are going on cruises now are deaf.

.

I don't think HAL's are much better either but people rave about them. They are much better then Princess. It was like sleeping on a board on the Sapphire last week.
