Grand Alaska Tour

We were looking forward to this cruise but we had problems getting travel insurance for my husband with his medical condition. They either wouldn't cover him at all for 72 nights or wanted £4000. So unfortunately we had to cancel. If only these insurances companies could see him playing football and swimming with our grandchildren.

Have you tried many insurance companies.? I have heard that Saga are very good with older people with medical conditions. I have a medical problem and am lucky that my insurance with the bank cover me. What a great shame as it reads to be a super cruise.

Hi Englishgirl

Yes we tried loads of companies, those that said no suggested others. It appeared to be the length of time. He has quotes to take up for travel to Europe and the normal time frame of up to 31 days, for the renewal of his annual insurance. Thanks for the suggestion.
