Things to do after getting off the boat...

We are getting back to POM from RCI LOS on a Saturday morning (between 7-8 AM). Our flight does not leave FLL until 540 PM. Any ideas on how to kill some time in the FLL/POM area? Thought maybe we could go check our bags in at FLL and then take a taxi to somewhere in the FLL area.

I think they will only allow you to check your bags two hours ahead of time.

 

Will you have a rental or using cabs?

 

I would suggest a rental as they can had as cheaply as $15 per day before taxes and fees off priceline and hotwire. It is also a good place to store your luggage.

 

I would head over to Las Olas and sit outside at Big City Tavern or Cheesecake Factory and people watch. Then I'd hop on the water taxi and view the massive waterfront homes and mega yachts.

Rent a car, bags in the trunk, and head up the coast - stop and have lunch someplace "beachy" and maybe even hit the beach. Drop the car at FLL between 3:30 and 4:00. Good luck! :)
