Constellation HA cabins next to mid-ship elevators

My husband who is disabled, and I are considering booking a handicapped accessible cabin with a balcony on the Constellation. The only HA cabins available for the cruise we are interested in are right next to the mid-ship elevators. For anyone who has stayed in one of these cabins, can you tell me if there is a lot of noise being next to the elevators? Any other information regarding these cabins would be very much appreciated.:)

Carol, you don't say which ship you'll be on but I can answer about the M class ships.

We did not find that it was extra noisy. As a matter of fact, we were very happy with our staterooms. The bathroom is very accessible but I would suggest that you bring an over the door shoe rack to put your toiletries in. There is no space under the sink so it allows a wheelchair to access the sink.

I wouldn't hesitate to book near the elevators. Unless there's a rowdy crowd waiting for one, you won't hear noise.

Absolutely agree. I've been right across from the elevators on C class and M class ships and noise was never an issue.

Hi CarolZaga !

I agree with the others. There should not be any issues with Mid ship cabins near the elevators. If you wish to give us specific cabin numbers, Id be glad to comment on them, if I know anything specific. Enjoy your Cruise.
