BcIcemen Posted January 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Cruise coming into Miami, flying out of Fort Lauderdale?
firefly333 Posted January 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I would never book a flight before Noon to 1 pm... but Im too conservative people tell me. More than likely you could make a earlier flight, but who wants to spend their cruise worrying. full customs, thats 2 hours in line if you hit it.. or weather delay or whatever. I would rather wait a couple of hours and check in early than worry. PS check out SAS shuttle for $15 to FLL airport. pp
cruisecrazy82 Posted January 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I asked the same question before our last cruise out of Miami (we also flew in & out of FLL) and got the same consensus, nothing before noon. So we booked a flight departing at 12:55pm. I must say I was a teensy bit nervous about it, but we opted to do the self-disembark, which btw was a BREEZE! We arrived at FLL around 9am with PLENTY of time to make our flight:D Hope this helps! ETA: I also second the recommendation of SAS, Steve was AWESOME!!!! remharri Posted January 9, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2011 We are doing the same thing with SAS travel and our flight leaves at 12:57. I think you would be ok with anything after noon. The guy told me at SAS that it's no problem.
