Aloha Deck - Golden - under pool

We were on Diamond but never heard anyone complain. We were below Muts and aft some 11th deck and could on a calm night, on our balcony, hear it but it was not disturbing. Pool noise? They wash the deck with hose and squeegee and people don't start to get chairs around it til about 9-10 AM. Take some earplugs too, just in case. BTW/if it gets a litile rough you may hear the waves in the pool crashing. The sound of Damond plowing thru 10 ft seas covered all the other noise nicely.

Been on the Riviera deck of the bigger ship and won't do it again under the pool areas due to the constant scraping of chairs. Even though it is Alaska you will have people going out there scraping the chairs to get seats for the view and for cleaning at night. There is no escape from those chairs. No afternoon naps if needed either. I read one report where they were right under the pool and they kept hearing the pool noises. I just wouldn't take a chance unless I knew someone reported here that specific room was fine. Are you referring to one of those big rooms?
