Brand of Tea

[User Error]

Quick question, no doubt having been asked before....couldnt find on the search.

 

The Mrs wants to know what brand of Tea is available on the Crown.

Most of the time you will find the "Always available" Lipton - regular and decaffinated, and then you have also the TWININGS, different flavours, Earl Grey, Darjeeling..... There is also at the bars ONLY the REVOLUTION tea, which is good also. But is charged. The rest is free of charge...:);)

If you purchase the coffee card you can get all the Revolution tea you want to drink at no extra charge. They have everything from regular tea to green tea. My favorite is the peach-ginger tea. Everywhere else you can Lipton's or Twinings in lots of varieties at no charge. They have herbal tea also.

You will also see an assortment of Bigelow teas, depending upon where the ship has taken on provisions. There is usually a very adequate selection.

I am not a Bigelow fan. Twining Oolang is a good regular tea if available -- better than Lipton. Sometimes there is also Twining Green Tea which is very good. Revolution Brand is free with the coffee card but is available only in few of the Bars (eg IC). It is excellent because the tea bags contain actual tea leaves. I have no idea of the geographic source (Assam, Darjeeling??) of the Revolution Teas.

in addition to the above mentioned teas-we also take along our own to have in our Cabin or take to the Dining Room.-we just keep some in my DS purse in a ziploc bag.
