Sundays: tours operate/shops open?

We will be in St. Thomas on the Serenade in April on a Sunday. We are the only ship in port that day. Do the various tour companies operate on that day, especially with only one ship? And what about the shops - will they be open?

I don't know if *everything* will be open, but when a cruise ship lets passengers off, you can bet that there will be folks on shore ready willing and able to sell them services and wares.

While there last week the shops at the port were open until right before we left, we were told that as long as people were shopping they would be open.

In town was another story, the shops started closing up around 2-3pm
