Has anyone actually taken the flight from Punta Areans to Antarctica? If so, what can we expect?...weather permitting of course.

We signed up for it as part of our 26 Jan. cruise on the Star Princess. However, we it was canceled about 45 days in advance because they said not enough participants. They said they needed 31 and were 7 short. But, it seems to me, they could have left registration open for longer and they might have gotten their needed number. It seems to me that something isn't quite right here. And the opportunity to do this flight was a main reason we did this cruise -- even though we knew this excursion was frequently canceled. Real bummer.
