Best Mom & daughter cruise

I've cruised before but never with my kids. I'm thinking of maybe doing a mom & daughter cruise with my 12 year old. I don't think she would go to kids programs, she would probably want to be with me. I know Disney is good but what others are good that aren't so expensive. Thanks for tips in advance!!

Royal Caribbean, Princess or Carnival. The term "best" is difficult, because that word means different things to everyone. For some, best is only the luxury lines, and for others it's a ship with pools, ice rinks and rock climbing. And for others best is the least expensive. Take a look at the cruise brochures and see what appeals to you and your daughter.
