I'm on holiday Posted January 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Yes, there are safes in the cabins. As for the laundry service, I don't recall the exact prices, but do remember thinking it was reasonable.

Yes there are safes in the rooms but there are no self laundry facilities onboard. But if you follow this link, it will take you to the prices RC has for laundry http://media.royalcaribbean.com/content/en_US/pdf/LaundryPriceList.pdf Susan :)
Paul65 Posted January 18, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Just to make sure you're aware, there are no "laundry facilities" for the guests to use, but there is a laundry service. I haven't used it much, but it's reasonable, if you just need a couple items cleaned. There is typically (at least on cruises of a week or more) a laundry special during which you can get everything you can fit in the bag laundered for a fixed cost ($20 or so). The special is limited to things like shorts, t-shirts and underwear, but if you're good at stuffing, you can get quite a few items in there, even though the bag may not be so big. rummenroman Posted January 18, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 18, 2011 We used the laundry bag special for $25 mid week of a 7 night cruise. It is the size of a brown paper bag only its plastic. We were able to shove all of our dirty clothes we have accumulated prior to the laundry day. They wash and fold shorts, undies, socks, tshirts, polos, and casual button down shirts. I'm sure they would do dress shirts, but they would be a wrinkled nightmare when you get them back. We sent it out at noon one day, and received our clean clothes by 5p the next day. Shak Posted January 18, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Many people think Clean and Fold is the same as Clean and PRESS but it is not. Your clothing will be returned washed folded but not pressed. If the items you send need pressing you will have to send them out separately or have them pressed afterwards.
