sludger Posted January 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Just a quick question do you think that these ships are past their use by date or are they still up to RCCL standard.
Mrsg324 Posted January 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Haven't been on Rhapsody since she left Galveston but she is our favorite ship.
celle Posted January 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Haven't been on Rhapsody since she left Galveston but she is our favorite ship. I can't speak for Rhapsody, but Legend is still beautiful and was kept in very good order. We spent 24 days on her last year and enjoyed every one of them. sassy12 Posted January 19, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 19, 2011 We were on Rhapsody December 2009 and she was in really good shape. Loved our Australian/New Zealand cruise.
sludger Posted January 19, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted January 19, 2011 We were on Rhapsody December 2009 and she was in really good shape. Loved our Australian/New Zealand cruise. We have just returned from a trip around Tasmania, we loved it too but I think it looked a bit tired in many places and wondered if that, as good as it is, whether it would still meet the standards of the US market. Tanderra Posted January 19, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 19, 2011 I thought Rhapsody was really beautiful :) Maybe a few scuff marks here and there but nothing that can't be fixed :)
not2old Posted January 19, 2011 #7 Share Posted January 19, 2011 We have cruised the Freedom class ships, cruised on Enchantment and on the Rhapsody. The Rhapsody is by far our favorite of them all! She is a beautiful ship with an awesome staff who take great pride in caring for her! Wish she sailed out of Baltimore instead of the Enchantment, we'd book her in a heartbeat!! Happy ks Posted January 19, 2011 #8 Share Posted January 19, 2011 We cruised Legend in Italy/Croatia 2 years ago and worried (a tiny bit) about the age of the ship ahead of time. She was lovely, well kept and had a great crew. I really like the size of the ship, especially for that type of trip which was port intensive. I like the Radiance class of ships, but would cruise on Legend again if we have the opportunity. I'm not a fan of the larger ships, Voyager class is just too internal for me, we did go on Liberty for a pre-innaugural and decided it was just too much for us. We may try the newer ones in the future, especially if we don't want to get off the ship in port.
