Barbados AND Grenada

I am looking for a cruise that hits both islands. These have been our favorites over the years and my husband and I will celebrate our 20th ann. Next year and would like to find one. Keep in mind a we are a mixed group.... Me 40s, DH 60s... DD 6, so not really looking for anything stuffy. We have traveled cfl, nil, and royal. This cruise could be longer than 7 days but prefer to travel either summer or winter....i'm a teacher!

Not many ships call on Grenada. Carnival has no itineraries which include the island. P&O has some itineraries leaving from Barbados which stop in Grenada but the itineraries are 12 days.

You may need to try RCI. We were on the Splendour of the Seas last March and went to Grenada....Wonderful place.

Princess has 14 day cruises that cover both islands but I know but don't no if the timing is right for you.

Years ago (in the 90's) we sailed on the Carnival ship Tropicale and it used to stop at both.....(but that does not help you now! sorry)

 

Wonder why Carnival stop going to Grenada? That was one of our favorite islands as well....:(

I think that is when we got the taste of both islands, but it was the festivale that we were on out of San Juan '92. It was our honeymoon cruise.

I was the Video Diary guy on both the Tropicale & Festivale in 92/93. I know the the Festivale stopped in Barbados and the Tropicale stopped in Grenada but I don't think either stopped in both. Not sure though it's been awhile...
