Formal night ?

This might sound silly. Can we wear informal clothes to the Windjammer, Johnny Rockets and Ritas Cantina on formal nights? I don't think I'll be able to get my husband in a suit (considering he has to wear one everyday for work) much less my 9 year old son. Our only cruise has been on NCL, where it's anything goes.

We have skipped the formal dress on the last 3 of our cruises. The great thing about allure is that you don't have to go only to WJ any more. You can choose many different locations. We have also been told by all our waiters that they would love to have us at formal dinner even if we are not "formal". We saw many people not in formal attire going into the dining rooms on those evenings anyway.

I have seen people show up in main dining room on formal night wearing shirt and pants; no jacket and no tie. Even though it is formal; if u don't want to dress up; they don't force the issue. This is your vacation; so enjoy
