Faxing the Maitre D on Opera

I've noticed some people are doing this for special seating requests. How do you get that number and when should we fax over our requests?

The fax number which Ernie e-roller so very kindly gave was 011 874 335 762 711. and should be marked for the attention of the Maitre D'Hotel

 

From memory e-roller suggested that you fax week before your cruise.
