How is Serenade MTD?

What have been your experiences with MTD on Serenade, please? We have been making reservations for the last couple of cruises, but those without seem to be moving along faster. This is at around 6 PM. What do you suggest if you have been on Serenade?

We had a great experience with MTD on the Serenade. We normally went at 6:30 and had the same table and service team each night. The service was fast and the food was hot and fresh. Lloyd, Bijou, Christine and Kenny were our service team. They were awesome. We did switch our times a couple of nights, but had the same table and servers. I highly recommend MTD!

We just got off Serenade on Saturday (1/22) and we did MTD as group of 8.

All in all it was fine, we were usually following another group of 8 who usually ate earlier so on a couple of nights we had a 5 to 15 minute delay to get seated but it was all OK...if island time is OK with you then MTD is the way to go. If you're tightly wound then maybe not.

What is served in the MDR on non-formal nights?

Sailed Serenade Jan 8-15. DH and I did MTD each night without reservations. We showed up at about 7:10pm and always seated immediately and at the same table or next to it. Always had the same wait staff, Malcolm and Luke who were terrific.
