Self Disembarking

Hello! DH and I are arriving at Port Canaveral on the Sun. NCL gives and arrival time of 8am. Is that the time we can get off or should I plan on later.

We are renting a car (like 1,000 others! lol) and want to drive to the airport.

If all goes well, you should be able to disembark at that time. I think the immigration snafu that made disembarkation in October 2 hours late was solved by the following month.

Loved keeping the luggage in the room until we left. Woke up, showered and walked right off the ship. No lines, no hassles. Had to catch an 11:30 flight in Lauderdale from Miami and had no problems. Took a taxi and made it in plenty of time. I wish other cruise lines would follow suit.
