NCL Pearl Balcony on deck 10

This is a first time for a balcony.

I am curious about the before April 16th and the after April 16th reconfiguration of the rooms. Are they going to wave a magic wand and change rooms in one day. Is the Pearl going into dry dock for a week or so???

Some of the rooms are going from a BA to a BB what is the difference? And is deck 10 a good level for a balcony? Are they going to pull out carpeting and put cheap sheets on the beds? ;) (Think Carol Burnet's skit about the no frills airline)

Thanks for all the input. CC is the best. Serious addiction when I am planning a cruise. My friends think that I am a cruise expert, but I don't know much compared to many on these boards. :p
