buckeye12 Posted March 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2005 We will be visiting NO for the first time on 2/24/06 for two nights. Mardi Gras will be going on at this time does anyone have any suggestions on where to stay. We were thinking about the Quality Inn on St. Charles Ave. But do they offer shuttle service from the airport or from the cruise port? Another ? is there a wal-mart or grocery store close to that hotel or close to the cruise port we were wanting to pick up some sodas and water for the cruise. One last ? we were wanting to go on a haunted tour or something of that sorts, will that be possible with the mardi gras madness, and if its possible can someone name a good tour. Thanks, Tiffany;)
Micktooth Posted March 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2005 You should find some good info already posted on this board. Just use the search function. If you are staying on St. Charles Ave. remember that almost every parade goes down St. Charles and if you want to get out and about, you might have a tough time of it.
