Dream - Pool Deck Entertainment

Does the Dream have live entertainment on the pool deck during sea days or is everything just music videos on the big screen?

 

There's something about a cheesy steel drum and synth band that always makes me feel like I'm on vacation.

 

I was just wondering if they were sent packing and replaced by the giant screen.:confused:

We were on the Dream in October. They did have a two man band that played the normal reggae style music. Nothing incredible but certainly what you would expect for a cruise pool atmosphere. Enjoy!

Excellent!! I like my technology but not if it eliminates the classic electronic reggae drum beat by the pool.

On our 12/23 sailing there was a man and woman singer called "Tropical Fire" on sea days. They sang/played Raggae music, along with using synthesizer keyboard thingy that simulated a full calypso band. They began playing at 11:30 am on sea days.

On the first sea day, they have done deck games...usually silly things in the main pool. they've also done the hairy chest comp, ice sculptures, etc
