Question about release of 2012 dates

Does anyone know what the "lack" of summer 2012 Alaska dates means? I know that there is talk of the Spirit moving to Australia in fall 2012, but surely they won't forego those Alaska itineraries for the summer. Or would they? I have been preparing and waiting to book since last fall for that summer. My DH and I made a decision, no more cruises until we go to Alaska. I am stoked and will be so dissappointed if it doesn't work out.

Only three ships had summer dates released so far. I wouldnt think not having a 4th ship not released yet means a thing.

 

Maybe more have been released, not sure, but they just started releasing a few dates so far. We didnt get Galveston dates last year until well into the summer.
