12:15 flight Port canveral to MCO

Comming off of the Carnival Dream docks at 8am can I make a 12:15 flight?

If so should I rent a car? What would be the fastest way to Airport.

 

Also can book a 5:45 but what to do all day (and with luggage)?

A 12:15 is cutting it close.

1 - clearance might take longer then usual

2 - Back-up at customs

3 - The Biggy an accident on the freeway.

 

MCO is good hour from Port Canaveral .

You have to check in , clear security and be ready to board at 11:45

That means that you have to be at MCO at least at 10:45

Leave PC (car rental) at 9:45

Be at car rental at 9:15

Doesn't leave you much time clear customs , get bags etc.

Ask the cruise line as to what time they recommend for the earliest

time for a flight. :cool:

If you can do it , why not spend a day/night in Orlando and fly home

early the next day1:)

I agree with the previous post. It's way too close for my comfort.

If you hire a driver I think you can make it. We have had no trouble disembarking before 8. It is 45 min to hour by but MCO is terrible. It will take an hour to get thru security.

I think you can do it if you get a private a shuttle. We used http://beachlineshuttle.net/

They were there waiting for us when we got off the ship. By using a shuttle you not using time to get a rental or returning it. Also if you disembark, that could speed the process.

yes, with a private shuttle or hired car you'll be fine 9 times out of 10

Carnival says 1pm or lator. So maybe I will rent a car and look for something to do for the day.
