facililties on Governor's Beach

Our group of 4 would like to taxi to Governor's beach (especially after reading the recent post on the mob scene at the beach by the pier!).

 

Are there facilities there - bathroom, lounges, umbrellas, snorkel rental?

How far would it be to walk from the ship to Governor's beach? Also how much to went lounge chairs at Governor's beach?

I have all of the same questions. The beach at the pier seems so crowded. Want a nice relaxing beach day. Don't mind springing for a taxi but need facilities, chair. Any shade:confused:

There is plenty of shade, chair rental, restrooms and place to get a beer, it's not far from pier but you can't walk down the beach to get there. We did a tour so chair and transportation was included. Nice and quiet.

I don't remember there being any umbrellas. My DH and I pulled two chairs under a tree.
