Ventura Caribbean N104 Itinerary Change

I have just had a call..

 

8th March was due to be Antigua now St Lucia.

 

9th March was due to be Dominica now Antigua.

 

10th March was due St Lucia now St Vincent.

 

So, no Dominica for us, not sure if I am disappointed or not ?

 

Apparently it is due to St Lucia being busy on the 10th, and a quick look on cruise cal confirms that Carnival Victory and Caribbean Princess are in St Lucia on that day. I guess Ventura would of been a ship to far !!

At least you have been told. Some only find out when they check thedetails online or even when they board the ship.

 

I think Dominica and St Vincent are quite similar. Dominica edges it for me as i was a little dissapointed with St Vincent (doesnt mean you will).

Dominica is a beautiful little island. I wasn't keen on St Vincent either. Have been to both on a sailing boat.

After looking into it I think we would of prefered Dominica, but hey, what can we do about it !!

 

The P&O girl who called said the change was to do with two other ships in St Lucia on the same day, so given that with Ventura that could potentially be upwards towards 8,000 people I would rather give it a miss.

 

So, what to do in St Vincent, any recomendations ?
