phdiva Posted February 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2011 Our ship is going to be in Cartagena on a Monday, when Calle de la Inquisición, Santo Domingo Church, and the Gold Museum are allegedly closed. Is this true? If so, do the private guides have special connections that can get us in the various sites?
eandj Posted February 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2011 That's a good question. If you don't get an asnswer here, I would go to the sister site to cruise critic...tripadvisor.com... and go to thier FORUM board for Columbia/Cartagena. There will be residents that will answer your question. I use that forum when I want some specific help or hints from "experts". I would presume if ships are in port, the tourist spots HAVE to be open.
recia Posted February 10, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2011 I sent an email to Dora, as we will also be there on a Monday, here is her response "Hello The Gold Museum is the only place close on Monday. Thanks Dora "
