AlmostMrsCooper Posted February 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2011 Going on the 10 day cruise in March and we don't know what to bring. What is the dress code for dinners? Is there a dress-up night? If so, how dressy? Anyone have a packing list? Thanks!

Boarcephus Posted February 5, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2011 I took a jacket and never once put it on and didn't feel out of place. What we liked about the PG was if a person wanted to dress up they could, and a few did, but overall it was slacks for men after 6 and that was about it. Very enjoyable. Rare artbcpa Posted February 6, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2011 I have been traveling for both business and pleasure for more years than I would like to mention and have found it extremely helpful to print out and use a packing list for all of my trips. I would be happy to share my packing list that I believe is a bit more complete than the ones mentioned above. (this list is for a man, but is easily adaptable for a woman) Tickets Passport Frequent Flyer cards Camera equipment (including inexpensive disposable undewater camera) Adapters/Converters for local electric power Communication device (this could be a computer, smart phone, iPad etc.) OAG book in case the flight gets cancelled Medication - in carry on bag Toiletries (with liquids less than 3 oz all in a one quart plastic bag) Shaver and accessories Extra hangers (hotels and ships never have enough. I bring some of those light wire ones and leave them there when I leave) One jacket (optional) Pants (2 or more depending on the length of the trip, remember shorts are not permitted for dinner) Shirts (2 long sleeve and 3 or more short sleeve) Shorts (2 or more) Swim wear (2 or 3) Rain gear (light plastic pancho or rain suit in small plastic bag) Undewear (7) Socks (7) Sleepwear (2) Shoes (1 or more for dress, sandals or sneakers and water shoes at least 2 pair since they are slow to drive. Glasses if needed, including a copy of the prescription in case something happens to the glasses) Backpack (or comparable to carry water and other items on my excursions) Newspaper stop Mail stop Reading material (for the plane and other times) Writing materials (because I always find I need it at some point) ...and finally my very soft feather pillow which probably has no more than two dozen feeathers left in it. It has ben all over the world withme)
