Strange Question

I have a kinda dumb question. We are booked on Carnival Destiny and have a TBA Cabin, usually on the boarding pass and luggage tag it has VIP on it. This is my 11th cruise. This time, neither say VIP. Is this because it's a tba cabin? My past guest number is on the booking. Or did they change this recently?

I would call someone at Carnival and ask them. You cruised all this time, and you should have VIP.

I just went thru the same thing this week. I booked GTY for my upcoming Triumph cruise. Up until yesterday my boarding pass and luggage tags did not say VIP. I got my cabin assignment and now they say VIP. So I would say that it is now perfectly normal that if you do not have your cabin assignment for them to not say VIP.

Thanks guys, thats kinda what I was thinking, I just got off Freedom in Dec and they said VIP but we had a cabin number. So that must be it. Did you get a good cabin?
