We just returned from a 14 night cruise on Grand Princess. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Dania using their park and cruise package. It was about $200 for one night and 14 days parking. It included breakfast and the lot is gated. Parking at the pier runs $15 a day so you basically get the hotel and breakfast for free. They do charge $20 for the shuttle. But when you get off the ship and get your luggage they'll come get you.....took them 8 minutes.

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton airport and cruise port hotel. They normaly charge $150 for parking package. We did a marketing promotion and got it for $49 total. It was a sales pitch but not very pushy. Here is the link if your interested. http://bestgetawaydeal.com/49-best-deal-fort-lauderdale-hotels-close-to-port-everglades-sheraton-fort-lauderdale-cruise-port-hotel-call-1-800-491-1170/ :):):):):)

We like the Fairfield Inn and Suites, Griffin Rd. in Dania Beach. It's 15 minutes to the port and will provide 25 days of free parking for a one night stay. The limo to/from Port Everglades costs $8 each. They also include a terrific full breakfast.

Hilton Garden Inn is our prefered hotel, but those across the street also offer park and cruise packages and are cheaper.

WE stay at the Best American Hotel in Cocoa. It used to be an Econo Lodge. Its about $80 a night, rooms are clean, free continental breakfast (with scrambled eggs) and a free shuttle to and from the port. You can park for more then 7 days, free.

And, we have met a couple, twice, who live in Tampa. They pay I think it $25 to just park there and take the shuttle. They don't have to book a room, they just pay and park.
