Sorry to ask....Earls Court/SW5 to Southampton

We are hoping to book base2stay Kensington hotel the night before the cruise. What would be the easiest way to get from there on Sunday by noon down to the Southampton cruiseport?

 

I have read many of the posts, but can't figure out what is the best place to start or whether we would take a bus or train.

 

I apologize for asking another transport question...but please help!
